As most weddings seem to, it happened too quickly for me to fully take in and appreciate the spectacular surroundings and connect with all the special friends and relatives who attended this wedding in Mendocino California in mid-September.I remember shared past Thanksgivings when the then basketball star/now lawyer and new bride was busy in the kitchen making her specialty apple pie and mashed potatoes… how could it be that she has grown into this lovely young woman and has found and married her prince (after a courtship of 12 years)?

These are just some of the images from the beautiful weekend. The sun broke through the clouds right after the ceremony ended.

I wish this young couple all the best, including many happy Thanksgivings with those mashed potatoes and apple pies that I fondly remember, and a lifetime of special memories.
