Sold! a 24×36 Gallery Wrap of a sailboat catching the light on the waters near Port Townsend, Washington. And I’m Sold! on the value of both Gallery Wraps and larger-sized images for wall displays.
Gallery Wraps are photos printed on a canvas surface stretched around all sides and secured to wooden bars (like an art canvas), eliminating the expense of a mat and frame. As I walked through a hallway to deliver it, someone commented that it looked like a Rembrandt (thanks, but don’t think so). Thank you to Ashley (pictured here with wrap (in plastic bag)) for demonstrating the value of a larger image on a wall to make a grand statement, and the beauty of Gallery Wraps.
This Gallery Wrap is a holiday gift for her husband (a lover of wooden boats), but I could tell from her reaction when receiving it that it’s also a gift that she will be enjoying in her surroundings for a long time.
